During the last Thursday in May, my coworker turned friend and lifestyle model, Maria and I decided to escape the everyday routine and step into a magical world inspired by Lewis Carroll’s classic tale. Our destination was The Rabbit Hole, a Greenville cocktail bar that captures the enchanting vibe of Alice in Wonderland. With moody decor and inventive cocktail names, it promised an evening filled with laughter, great food, and memorable experiences.
From the moment we walked in, I was captivated by the atmosphere; a mix of live plants, quaint furniture, and colorful art that reflected the Alice in Wonderland theme. The ambiance felt inviting with both indoor and outdoor spaces, creating a perfect backdrop for the photo session we were about to have.

After settling into a corner high table with an ideal view of the space, we gave a glance at the themed drink menu. The cocktail options were exciting; it felt like each drink had its own story, and we were eager to order our first round.
We chose a few of the bar’s signature cocktails; my personal obsession, the Espresso Martini, plus an Old Fashion, Sarah’s Sparrow, White Rabbit’s Remedy, and a version of a French 75. As our drinks arrived, we cheers'd our glasses, toasting to friendship, new adventures, and all the tea (if you know what I mean).
The drinks were beautifully presented. When we sipped our cocktails, they were refreshing and layered with flavors, a perfect teaser for what was to come. In fact, surveys show that creative cocktails can increase patron satisfaction, and The Rabbit Hole certainly delivered on taste, recommendations, and service thanks to bartenders, Kate and Jack.
Alongside our cocktails, we indulged in small bites from the menu. Each dish was artfully designed, offering flavors that complemented our drinks. We selected several bar food options, including the Bread Service (obsessed!), Potato Donuts, Empanadas, & Pasta Carbonara. Each bite was an adventure, offering a perfect mix of taste and creativity.
As the evening unfolded, we found ourselves discussing our lives, our goals, challenges, and the little joys that made each day feel special. A cozy setting like The Rabbit Hole encourages open conversation, helping us to connect and share the ultimate five year plan.
In between catching up, I took delight in capturing photos with my Nikon d780. The darker lighting and vibrant meals created a feast for the eyes, and I framed each shot carefully, wanting to preserve not just our memories but also the visual appeal of the evening. Phone eats first!
For a first-time visit, The Rabbit Hole offered a distinctive experience. When I tell you, the bathroom truly was a vibe of its own! We're talking individual hand towels after each visit. It's an ideal place for those looking for an evening full of imagination and enjoyment (we're past the bathroom now). Plus, there's another section of the venue we have yet to explore, which was reserved that night by a watch group... the kind you wear. I think there is a library back there too!
As the night ended, we split the $165 bill before our parking expired at nine and promised to return to the real world. Whether you're looking for a new cocktail bar, creative food photography, or a warm spot to enjoy with friends, The Rabbit Hole certainly offered that experience.
